Twitter is my best referral source, but I automate or have my VA do 99% of the social media work, so the time investment is minimal. I would keep using whatever you prefer and work on that first.

Wow! I forgot to hit subscribe to this topic so I'm late catching up to all this great feedback. Thanks everyone. Dee, I've just dipped my toe in the Pinterest pool, so I'd love to see that post too. Weird, I just set up an account with no pins and I was getting traffic (trickles at the time) for about a month with nothing there. So I decided to go for it.

Another blogger mentioned reserving your name on social media sites – the big ones at least – so I figured I'd do that on Pinterest and Instagram even though I don't use them yet.

I have a baby site on Pinterest if anyone wants to connect: http://www.pinterest.com/debtfreedivas/ I always follow back.

As for my best traffic sources: FB is by far the greatest with Twitter being #2. But I spend an great deal of time on FB. I've put so much time in I'm not willing to give it up. Trying to crack the 5K fans point. No real reason why, I've just made that a goal and can't give up on it yet.

Weird nobody mentions FB? I've found in my marketing gig FB works best for marketing.

I'm trying Pinterest and Reddit. I seem to get random large bursts of Reddits.

But social overall pales in comparison to Google.

Sam

I did. FB is my biggest traffic source hands down. I need to do more research about keywords and SEO because I don't come up in any google searches unless you are specifically looking for my site. I've started to see a little more trickle from google, but I know I'm neglecting that area. Thanks for the reminder.

I've have been asleep at the Pinterest wheel. I thought it was all cooking and craft stuff. How wrong was I. I'm in a tribe and one of the members is trying to really get us up to speed with Pinterest. Gong to propose a Yakezie Pinterest board – unless there already is one.
