I've seen several sites (My Journey to Millions and Budgets Are the New Black) with those clouds of words called a "Tag Cloud" in their sidebars or below all their stuff.  I'm assuming it's for SEO purposes.  Is it better than a category list?  I see a widget I can use to add one onto my sites, so I was wondering if I should do it?

I have one and have used it at other sites.  It's an easy way to find other posts by a more specific topic than category.

I have to go and check if I am using one right now….. I think I should be! They are good for readers looking to quickly flick through the blog and I guess it's cool to have your biggest keywords linked from every page of your blog for SEO.

Vist me at Frugal Zeitgeist…. Frugal and Sustainable Living for the now…

Cool beans.  I've decided to go with both – a category list for detail-oriented minds like myself who like order and a tag cloud for the browsers that like a little chaos.  :-)  We'll see if that helps any!
