I installed the WP greet box plugin, or I attempted to install it automatically.  Now I'm getting this error Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/m/i/s/MYHOST/html/yesiamcheap/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-greet-box/includes/common.class.php on line 27

I can't do anything on the admin side without this error.  I'm not technologically inclined, but I can follow instructions. Does anyone know what I can do?   Thanks.

Sandy,

Can you go to your cpanel (or whatever the equivalent is in your host) and delete the wp-greet-box folder? and then try your admin page again?

for example in my cpanel->filemanager ->www->wp-content->plugins->wp-greet-box

That will delete the plugin though. After that you can back up, see if it compatible with all our other plugins and then install?

Thank you!  I went to cPanel and removed it.  I have control back now.  :)

For future reference you could also go through your FTP client and remove it.
