Frugal Portland at Frugal Portland is the host for the Yakezie Carnival this week!

Submit your article by clicking here on the Yakezie Submission Form link!

Interested in being a host or curious who is scheduled to host for the current week?
Click this link: "Yakezie Carnival Hosting Schedule" to see the next available Yakezie Carnival week that is open, along with the current generous (and clever, since hosting has it benefits) bloggers that are scheduled to host the currently assigned Yakezie Carnivals!

If you want to sign up to host a week go to the bloggercarnival.com site and host a Yakezie carnival!

HOW?  By clicking on this link –> "Host a Yakezie Carnival" and doing the following:

  1. Find the date you want to host in the left hand column.
  2. Click on the button titled "OPEN – Click to host date" next to the date.
  3. Fill out the form that pops up.
  4. Click the submit button, and then you are finished!

Hosts:

A html formatted email with all of the submitted articles will be email to you in one email, so all you need to do is cut and paste the email content into your carnival instance in one simple action.  This will simplify the process even further than it was previously.  If you want further instructions, follow the steps in the Yakezie Submission Form Instructions, under the category titled: "Hosting Site Instruction for Creating the Yakezie Carnival".

Thanks for hosting this week Frugal Portland!

Hi Ryan,

Basically a carnival is a great way to build links for your site so you place higher in the various search engines.

What you do is submit your best article of the week to a carnivals and hopefully the include you in there post of best article for the week.  You then provide a link to the blog that hosted the carnival.  If the host decided not to include you because your article didn't agree with him/her, that's just part of the game and you shouldn't be dicouraged, keep trying.

The benefits are 2 fold,

1.) You get a backlink (the entire basis of higher rankings on search engines)

2.) The blog host also gets a link for your site to them.

So basically it's a win-win for your site and for the carnival host of that week.

If you want go to BloggerCarnivals.com and submit one of your articles.  Hosting is incredible easy too if you are interested!

Hope that helped, and if not check out this article: Benefits of Blog Carnivals

Bests,

Don
