First Gen American Into to my Blog | Yakezie Reader Insights | Yakezie Forums

Hi,

I am a long time commenter, but just started blogging in mid July of 2010.  Many of you know me as Sandy L and I'm over at Firstgenamerican.com.

I started first gen american as a homage to my immigrant upbringing. Much of my personal finance background can be traced back to my immigrant upbringing. My mother definitely falls into the "extremely frugal" camp.  I write about what I have learned from her as well as my own professional life experiences. Some posts are funny, some are extemely personal and heavy..but all have a happy ending and a lesson in the end.

My initial Alexa rank was 6MM, but now is around 207,000.   I actually have a guest post written up for Yakezie.com, so I'd like to submit that as a next step so people can learn a little more about my background.

I love the Yakezie community. Many of the bloggers in this network have been very supportive and welcoming and I wanted to thank you all for the encouragement, support, and blog 101 mentoring.  I look forward to meeting the rest of the community.

Crystal. Thanks for making blogging so much fun. Don't know what I'd do without you and the few other Yakezie members who religiously read all my stuff.

Hey, is there a way to edit your original posting? I realize I have some typos.  Just shows you it's not good to try to do 2 things at once.
