Hi All,

 

A friend of mine has a patent and a company wants to license it in the US.  Does anyone have resources on how to negotiate terms for this kind of situation?

Hmm, sounds like something he/she should hire a lawyer for. Anything that involves licensing and patents could get tricky and your friend needs to make sure his rights are protected. Attorneys can get expensive, but it's worth it to pay for advice and protection now versus having things go badly and spending a lot more later on to untangle things.
