Has anyone placed any company on your adsense block list for personal/ideological reasons?

I've been finding that the meta data i've been adding to my articles are giving fairly relevant ads so i've yet to block a site or category.

I try to keep everything as simple as possible and haven't been offended by any Adsense ad yet, so I don't have any blocks.

I stopped using ad networks since I couldn't control the content that it shows.

I haven't seen anything I don't like show up in my ads, but if anyone ever does, let me know… but I find Adsense OK. With other networks such as Adbrite, you have to watch out for the semi-porn ads that appear even if "Family friendly" is checked.

I don't have anything yet on the list.  Found it ironical to see a BofA ad on a post that wasn't very flattering of BofA! Wink

Yeah, I got rid of Adbrite (sacrificing my $2.13, lol) because busty blondes were showing up on some of my reader's computers!  In what world is that "family friendly"?

I don't have any blocks. So far I haven't heard anything from my readers. So, I am assuming I am okay.

I ask a few US and UK friends to check my ads every now and then and get them to mail any dodgy looking sites to add to my blacklist…. Quite rare to be honest.

Like Kevin though if you ever see bad ads on my adsense please please please email me.

Vist me at Frugal Zeitgeist…. Frugal and Sustainable Living for the now…
