Looks pretty clean Tony. I like it.
If you can, I would reduce the height of the header though. There's a lot of dead space in there.

Thanks for the advice! I'll work on it. I know that it's best to have most of my content "above the fold".

Excellent design Tony, looks like you did invest a decent sum here. Areas of improvements
1. Introduce a slogan or catch phrase to go with blog name
2. You recommend stocks, I would suggest you implement disclaimer immediately.
Overall nice one to look at

Thanks. I'll definitely keep that in mind. I'll work on a slogan now, plus the disclaimer. :)

Please don't. Lol. I'm terrible with this tech stuff. I attribute my success with this new theme to the easy to use Standard Theme. And I hired a designer for my logo (I wish I could say that I did it myself).

I like it but think there is a little too much white space around your logo. I think a tagline would help or just move the content up.

I agree about the header and disclaimer. Otherwise, I think it's pretty good. You don't have too much drawing attention away from your content, so that's good. Maybe you can add something related to stocks on the sidebar.

Looks good Tony. I like your logo, it's like the coolest guitar pick I have ever seen. I would maybe re-work that to really feature in your header area, with some vibrant colors. I like the direction your taking it.
