Anybody checking their pagerank this morning will be in for a bit of a shock. It looks like Google isn't reporting PR at all this morning.

Thanks for the heads up! That would have been quite alarming to see a 0/10, but I guess when you go to Google, Facebook and Twitter and theirs is also showing a goose egg, you can spin it as a positive and say that you have the same pagerank as those sites!

Actually, just saw a few blog posts that Google changed the URL that accesses the page rank info, so any third party tools (and even Google Toolbar seems to be affected according to some) will have to be updated unless Google re-directs the old links back.

Thanks JT, I thought it was odd that none of my sites had a pagerank, until I visited a few more and just figured Google changed something.

Something is up with some of our MozRank's, too. I (and others) currently have a moz of 0, which is obviously not correct!

I didn't even notice that until you said something. I guess I was so worried about the pagerank, that I didn't bother to look over at moz!

A bit of an esoteric analogy here, but have you ever seen "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise? The movie where those big Alien machines come out the ground and start lasering all those people who run away frantically screaming?
Well, that's kind of how I see these updates. With Panda, they just lasered some sites to oblivion. So yes, this could be a double edged sword as SPF says….
But here's hoping for the best:)

I realize the importance of a page rank but how annoying. Is there there an offering we can make to the Google Gods instead of waiting in anticipation? I hate how much I fear their ranking system! haha

Ha! I guess some sites were sacrificed in the last update….let's hope ours don't have to deal with that. Really interesting how much concentration of power there is……
