Here's the best I've come up with for new Yakezie challengers:

Start Here

1.  Follow the starting steps found here – http://yakezie.com/yakezie-net…..uidelines/

2.  Once you have placed the appropriate badge and announcement post as described in the link above, publicly announce yourself as a challenger to the group by starting a new post in the Blogger’s Lair part of the forums.

3.  Then please add yourself to the Official List of Challengers.

4.  Start browsing the forums to help others, develop new relationships, and find answers to your questions before you even have to ask.

Welcome to the Yakezie Challenge!  We hope to get to know you better!

Edited by Suba to add : Thanks Crystal!!! I have pinned this post so that it can be easily found by new challengers.

Hi,

I (think) that I joined the network, but not sure exactly.

I put the badge on my site, and on the guidelines it says to leave a comment to mark the beginning, but the link for the keep track doesn't go to anything about the challenge.

http://yakezie.com/yakezie-net…..uidelines/

When it says join the network and then work with others, is that off Yakezie or on or both?

Really looking forward to meeting everyone!!!

Wecome Marina. When you join the Yakezie Challenge, you are joining a six month trial to become a full member of the Yakezie network. Start by getting to know the long time members, other challengers, commenting on their sites, and participating in the community.

As you do that, it will begin to make sense.

Thanks Eric,

I'm sooo ready :) Just one quick thing, commenting on both sites, is that what you mean – theirs and Yakezie?

To find challengers (like yourself) Keep your eyes out in the forums, and you can find all the members on the yakezie member page.

I'm in your boat! I just joined (I think) and the process is… confusing. I put the badge on my site, made my profile, and I guess that's it? I guess we just post here and on blogs on the list and get to know everyone, but I don't understand how all your comments are tracked and how you advance.. ? Also, someone posted about writing a post on your blog about joining the challenge, I think? Then there's something about being part of a class – Alpha, Delta, etc…

I'm lost.

Why is it that I didn't know I had to add myself as a challenger? 2.5 months of being on Yakezie and I feel like I had no clue. It's gotta be the blonde hair.

I always think of summer when I have blonde hair! It's so much better than my mousy brown hair.
