Last week was the 1 year anniversary of my blog and I finally got around to making a post about it and I shared some stats for the curious.

http://www.thepassiveincomeear…..rsary.html

I have to admit that I had no idea what I was really doing for the first 5 months (probably why I was on blogger too :) ). Thanks to everyone here for accelerating my knowledge too :)

Congrats! One year is probably a lot longer than most bloggers last. I bet you've learned a lot! I know I have since I started!

Congrats on one year. I passed that milestone last month, and know the feeling. I checked out the post you linked to – it seems like you've had a really good 1st year with lots of growth. Keep up the good work.

I'd have to say that it is to be satisified with what you are doing. If you try to emulate others and do too much, you can burn out. I really figured out myself and my site after a good 6 months. I went back and looked at what I wrote and it's very different now. I really tried to write 4 posts per week and a weekly round up and it was too demanding on time. Instead, I now write 2 posts and a weekly. It's not a crazy amount to increase traffic but I am still around :) I am a very organized person so I needed a plan and a little more organization around my writing routine.

Ultimately, having a long term plan and some short term plans with appropriate time to execute are keys to staying sane :)

What I haven't done yet is write an eBook and a software. My writing skills aren't amazing but I'll still try to write an eBook as I have a really good subject for it. Time is challenging with 2 kids and a busy job.

This group has been amazing for resources and getting to know other bloggers!!! Thank you everyone.
