Here is the notification for yakezie summer teams. Going by past experience a team size of 7-9 is optimal. We'll decide the actual team size when the sign up closes, majority wins. Please go ahead and sign-up for the teams. Do read the terms carefully though and do not signup if you disagree.

Rule 1 – Do not continuously link articles from your fellow team members in roundups or by any other means. Yakezie does not support or encourage this type of linking practices. Link only if the article is too good not to link. Please try to limit your activities to commenting and social promotion only, to help your team mates.

Rule 2 – Teams will be formed on Monday 06/11/2012 8PM EST, you can continue supporting your team till the next seasonal teams are formed. But you are not obligated and leave at any time.

Rule 3 – Teams will be decided on basis of order of entry. Example – if number of blogs submitted is 40 and team size decided is 8, then 5 teams will be formed and 1st, 6th, 11th… entries will be combined to form first team, and so forth. Request to change teams shall be granted only if more than one blog you own fall in to one team.

Best practices (no obligation)

1. Visit and read articles as many times a day as you wish.

2. Try to leave at least a couple of comments on fellow team member's blog every week.

3. Its not good practice to create a dofollow blogroll containing only your team. 

Benefits – Ask any other blogger who participated in team activities before.

Good stuff.

This has been one of my favorite endeavors to come out of the Yakezie.  I get exposed to lots of excellent blogs, it helps with my traffic, Alexa, and comment numbers, and I've definitely 'stuck around' as some of the team member blogs that I've been assigned have turned into my personal favorites.
