I think a lot of people really may feel that way based on my sometimes outspoken and challenging (perhaps difficult) attitude and opinions!

By the way, I would like to be on Eric's team. I thoroughly enjoy his comments. Wink

signed up. FYI, there's another thread with teams on the forum as well! They should probably be consolidated. I'll look for the other thread and let them know.

I already did Barb; not sure whether they have seen it.

I'm in.  I'm a new challenger, so I hope it's okay for challengers to participate.

I just started linking via Zemanta to posts from feeds within my own personal list of blogs I like to read.  My personal list could contain my team and others not on my team.  Is that type of linking supported by Yakezie?

One suggestion I have is go to one page in each blog and then at least click one link to another page from within the blog to read another page so bounce rate is not so high either.

Now we are talking about some number here. 46 signed up so far. Great participation. Let's start the discussion around optimal team size.

My vote would be for 8 members per team. What do you suggest?

I agree with that number, SB.  8 is manageable.

Unfortunately, 46 doesn't have very many factors. Unless we do pairs or 2 groups of 23, there is going to be one group smaller than the other.

That said, I would agree that having 7 teammates would be a manageable affair.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I actually think that 8 is very low – last time I started with a great team but because of circumstances some people had to drop out. My guess is that there were only three active members of the team.

Having said that, I am ready to go with whatever the majority says. I believe that the size of teams is particularly important to new challengers – the ones amongst us who have been part of this for sometime already have established relationships though I am always keen to enlarge those.

Yes you should link blogs you like. No body will stop that. Teams linking each others ends up creating link chain which is not OK by someone bigger and mightier than Yakezie. So be careful. or it'll act as negative SEO.

I like 8 members. Even if people drop out (as someone previously stated), this is a good number, because then I can help my teammates and still visit all the other awesome blogs out there.
