Welcome new challengers. Another tip, in addition to your "new team" if you visit and comment on Yakezie blogs, most of us will reciprocate by visiting your site as well. Best of luck with your new blogging endeavors.

Wow.  I wish I had launched my blog earlier so I could have participated in this.  I launched on July 1st.  When is the next seasonal challenge???

Till the time new teams are not formed you can get added in to team 7 and go from there. Team 7 needs some more members. Here's the link doc

I have the same question…is this still open? We'd love to sign up. Also, I've been reading skimming through this whole thread and need a bit of an explanation of what the goal is and how a team "wins"…or am I just lost? It appears that team members are to visit other team members' sites and comment. Please let me know if there is still room and forgive my stupidity!

@Club Thrifty you should join Team 7!  It's nice to be on a "team" with a few ppl you already know, and we have already been commenting on each other's posts and linking and whatnot.  I see that Michelle from Making Sense of Cents is on team 7, as well as Planwise who I have connected with recently.

I do agree the goals and rules of the competition should be laid out in more detail.

I also froze the first row of the spreadsheet…kind of out of habit.  I work in Excel all day and do side work in Google Docs/Excel so I naturally do things like that but I will try to resist changing the spreadsheets ;)

It's not actually a competition.

The idea is that members in the team visit each others blogs, promote posts and network for a few months. Generally team members should visit your site at least once a week, although there is no maximum/minimum in how your team works together. At the end of several months, we'll switch teams.

It's a great way to drop Alexa, get to know other Yakezie and promote posts on social media. I think most Yakezie would agree, that its one of the most effective events that goes on here.

I'm interested to know if this is still open as well or if I need to wait for the next round. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
