I finally got a new alexa ranking (just over 4.7 million).  I have been blogging since the beginning of August, but just recently (3-4 days ago) purchased my own domain and transferred the site over. I didn't have a new Alexa ranking until today!

I am absolutely thrilled to see my new alexa ranking. It was over 8 million (at my wordpress blog). I know I have a long way to go still, but have found lots of support in the Yakezie community. Thanks! I will let you know when I reach 200K.  If I keep reducing my score by half every couple of days, I will be there in no time.  I suspect this won't be the case… we'll see.

Thanks Yakezie members!

Corey

Congrats.  I remember how exciting it was to go from 4M to 1M and down from there.  It is a good feeling!  In my experience, things fell fast until I hit around 700K and then the pace slowed down.  Keep posting good content and you will hit your goal in now time!

Thanks Miss T and AaronHung. I am continuing to do all that time allows. I am even writing posts for the future and trying to guest post on a few websites (among tons of other things to network with other bloggers).

Nice job! When I first started the Yakezie challenge, my Alexa Rank was 4.7 million too! It was so fun to watch it plummet! It's still going down today too! I just broke the 70k barrier, and I'm now at 69k. I've been watching this rank for almost a year now, and it's STILL exciting to watch!

@ Derek, Thanks! That is encouraging. Here's hoping I can make as much progress in this next year as you have in the past year.

@MoneyistheRoot, Thanks. I will keep at it!

I think my site was at 15 million or something like that when I started it. When I got to 10 million I thought "wow, I just improved my rank by 5 MILLION! LOL.

So, since your rank is at 4.7 million you have a headstart:)

Keep at it, and the rank will drop quite a bit each day for an extended period of time. Once you get under a million or so, the rate slows more. Keep active, be persistent, and you'll get to 200,000 before you know it.

The highest that I've seen has been around 23 million, so you are better than most! It will probably amaze you to see how fast it can drop.

Keep up the good work! Everyone on here will tell you that it will drop in no time, and it is the truth! My first blog post was on August 5th with no Alexa ranking at all. Since then I've dropped to 622,488 with a normal posting schedule of twice a week. You can do it too!

@frugaltoad, thanks. I am not sure what advice to offer other than to network with others. I naturally enjoy reading other blogs and realized how important it is to comment on their blogs.

@Matt, @MyJourneytoMillions, Thanks for the encouragement.
