24 Hour Blog-A-Thon - Looking for Help | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

We have an idea that we are hoping some of you will help us out with.  

Our idea is to host a 24 hour Blog-A-Thon in the near future.  Every hour we would put up a new personal finance post.  For every visit to our site that day we will donate 1 cent (if we get a ton of traffic) or 10 cents if a reasonable amount of traffic up to a maximum of $250.00.  We will also donate any money made that day from ads, affiliate sales, etc.  We will give all of this money as a donation to the Yakezie Scholarship.  

We need guest posts (at least 15-20 as we do not want to write too many if we can promote others).  We are looking for short to the point guest posts on any personal finance topic of your choice.  Minimum of 250 words, Maximum of 500.  Please send any posts to webhost@brokeprofessionals.com and we will organize it and let everyone know more details as we get closer to having enough posts to do it.  

Let me know if anyone is interested and any thoughts/suggestions as to running/improving this idea.  Thanks in advance for your help in organizing this.

Ideally I would like to do this March 19th so the deadline would be tenatively March 15th.  If there is not enough submissions by then I may have to push it back.  Maybe I should create a signup sheet.  Thanks for the interest Aloysa.  I enjoyed your new series on relationships. 

Count me in!  It sounds like a great way to help out a great cause.  I'll try to get you something by the end of the week.
