are a powerful style of posting that has been used with great effect
for many years by bloggers. While most of us won't use it for every
post we write it is a very useful post format to practice and have in
your blogging tool belt.

I like posts with directions, Jesse. It makes it easy to follow and be sure you've not missed anything. You could follow up with "8 Reasons to switch banks" and link back to your 8 ways to switch for an easy linkback.

I liked the first post better than the second but I think they all meet the criteria.

I'm following the 31 day course, so I just published my list post. I called it 5 Dumb Ideas That Made Millions. I was trying to make it something that would be interesting and somewhat entertaining for the reader. Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for visiting and replying. I never thought that my $25K biology and chemistry education would come in handy, but when I taught my mother that Oxiclean one, she nearly fainted.  Now, if you want to be extra, extra clean then add some Borax to your wash.

Although guilty of producing them myself, I am tiring of seeing so many list posts these days. Unless they are truly original (which doesn't happen often anymore) I am leaning toward reading articles that read as articles. Heck, I called my last article: Not Another Top 10 Reasons to Cancel Cable List. Surprise surprise – the most commented on article on our site, ever.
