Many Yakezie members do this weekly and it's a great way to selflessly promote others!

Day 7 – Write a Link Post

Today your task is to reclaim
some of this practice of linking to other blogs and to write a post
that highlights what another blogger (or bloggers) in your niche has
written.

I've been doing this since almost the beginning. Here's my latest link post: http://www.investitwisely.com/…..y-edition/

The structure has evolved over time, so I would appreciate any feedback :)

I have a Weekly Favorites and Gratitude post every Saturday and a Yakezie Alexa update every Sunday that mentions the group, how to download the toolbar, and links to the Yakezie Member List that has a tab of its own at the top of my page.

I did a small link up post on Saturday but I like your format, Budgeting in the Fun Stuff. I may steal your format if you don't mind!

LOL, sure.  :-)  I always thought it was too simple (but I like simple) - I'm glad someone else likes it too!

Ooh, while we're on the subject, you may want to check out Len Penzo's format…he has the best roundup in my opinion.  It's like a story that you feel the need to read all the way through…way too much work for me, but definitely a good one to look at for inspiration.  :-)

Okay, I did this exercise and named the post 5 Dumb Ideas That Made Millions.  This was by far T-H-E most popular post on my blog ever.  :)  Thanks!  I'm on day 12 now, so let me get back to that.

I try to do a roundup post every Friday.  As I get more motivated and write more posts, I might move this to a weekend date.

What I do is use my Google Reader list to build my roundup.  When I find an article I think I might want to include, I click the 'Star', then at the end of the week I go to my 'Starred Items' and have all the potential inclusions for my roundup.  It's easy enough to pull in the links and write it up.
