I was inspired by a recent post by our own Aloysa and pushed again by a post from Pat Flynn and did my own "get to know me" post.

http://www.narrowbridge.net/34…..-about-me/

Some of you probably know some of those things, but I am sure there are many things you had no idea about. I had fun writing it, so I hope you have fun reading it.

Hello, fellow Eagle Scout and Coloradoan! I didn't get inducted into the OA until I was 17, so I really never had a chance to advance.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Most of what I did with OA was at camp. I spent most summers on the ceremony team and one summer my title was "Ranch OA Coordinator." That was mostly during college.

Unfortunately, I had been reading Frank Herbert's God Emperor of DUNE at the time, and it's anti-traditionalism and anti-symbology message had me lashing out against the pageantry of the induction ceremony. As such, I didn't enjoy myself as much as I should have.

The Dale decision came down and BSA and I parted ways before I had an opportunity to do much with scouting as an adult. But I still have a lot of respect for the organization and the volunteers in it.

I agree that it's a great idea for a post.  All this random stuff doesn't necessarily fit into other pages.  So it interesting to learn more about the man behind the blog like this.  I too might have to copy and do something similar.

@Modest Money it is interesting to be called the "man" behind the blog. I always thought of myself as the "guy" behind the blog.

Great post. It gave me somewhere to confess that I am a HOUSE addict — Deadmau5, etc. I am not offering that gem on my own site.

commented on your post, I think it is amazing how many times you travel in a year and how often you have been to Israel.
