I just wanted to give a big shutout and THANK YOU to all of you for the support over the last 1-2 weeks. My traffic levels have been insane in 2012, especially in the last 1-2 weeks where I'm nearly averaging 1,000 visits a day – and it's all directly THANKS TO YOUR tweeting, G+, commenting, liking, and linking.
Ever since I published the article, "The Cold Hart Truth on Being a Personal Finance Blogger", there's been superb buzz, and I'm like a kid at a candy store in excitement.
- I entered Pat's SPI contest, and submitted the article. He emailed me back, and hyped up the article, and said it was a great read.
- Someone came forward wanting to buy FF
- Twitter and G+ following is up 20% over the past week
- 10% up on newsletter (email list) subscriptions
- I wrote another "dirty" and "harsh" blogging article – to be published this coming Monday
- I can't SLEEP at night as my mind is racing with ideas, and the notepad next to my bed is getting filled more and more.
So, that's it. I just wanted to share my excitement with y'all. Thanks again for all your support, and don't be shy to holla if you need anything.

My friend there is no secret really, however there is one piece of advice that I have for anyone willing to listen, and something that has worked for me, yet took me 15 months to realize. Drop by FF on Monday, and check out the post which will explain the not-so-secret approach.

I just started reading your blog in these last few weeks. I really appreciate the no-fluff approach. You are not looking to have everyone come in and say "oh, I totally agree, you're the bestest" in every comment, you stir things up a bit. And your writing is very engaging as well. I'm taking notes, trust you me :)

Blogging is not about appeasing others, but rather letting your inner voice out. Sure, you'll raise some eyebrows and offend others in the process….but nothing is perfect…and I certainly don't strive for it, because soon or later you'll be unhappy with striving for perfection.
