Sorry about that.  I'm just really frustrated.  Work has been kicking my ass (70 hours of OT over the past 4 weeks), and as you can probably tell, I haven't had much time to write, or even comment on many blogs or in the forums.

I'm still here, don't worry, but just go easy on me, as I'm trying to fit my normal routing, working out, commenting on my groups and everyone else's blogs that I read (slowly but surely) into a more condensed period of free time.  Just don't give up on me Laugh

I was wondering where you'd gone….then remembered (I think) that you're an accountant, right? If so, that's enough for me. We'll see you mid April.

At least that's what I thought when I saw less posts. Love your site, man. Happy to wait for more good stuff!

Love the title! But yeah, if the 70 hours of OT are @ 1.5 time, then that could get you way ahead in your finances!

Hang in there Eric!  OT means more moolah, but try and maintain a balance.  Breathe. Smile

I agree, no worries. Hoping things return to normal for you, at some point

I feel like I have been in the same position lately. I am also slowly but surely getting on track.

The extra time in the office does mean more money, but unfortunately it's just straight pay, as it's been my experience that salaried jobs in accounting don't normally utilize a true "overtime" payscale.

Some days, especially Saturdays, I would just rather have the time to myself as I put a value on my personal time (and sanity) at a higher price than I get pay-wise.  But, I have a job, and for now it's pretty secure so I won't complain too much–I do reserve the right to bitch and moan a little though!

I hear you. It's nice to have job security, but sometimes time and plans go out the window. I've given up working out for over a week just to get a little blogging time in. Going to get back into it though or my clothes won't fit :) and I don't want to buy new stuff!

Don't worry…it happens to all of us! I'm still trying to recover from a few months of relative silence on my blogs and not being able to comment on others.

I've found that most of the Yakezie is very supportive and helpful, so don't forget that you can lean on the group if you need any help!

it's OK Eric; you just hang on there and get through this one. Sometimes this happens and then we need to ease off in other areas to survive.

See you around soon

Take 15 minutes to just take a walk.  Do that about once every 4 hours.  It will make the next few hours much more productive.
