Adsense clickbombing prevention

I've looked into the software solutions available, even paying $47 for one, and I'm not 100% happy.  I think I'm going to nag–I mean, sweetly ASK my husband to make a better plugin for this problem that does everything these solutions do, just better, before I but up the PPC ads.  How many people would be interested in buying something like that?  I'd probably price it at $50, too, but it'd be WAY better than the one I bought, which does one nice thing but leaves a bunch of problems in place.  It won't be PERFECT, but it should take the likelihood of clickbombing down to a tiny, tiny fraction of what it is now.

It might be a couple of months before he gets to it, though.

I want a plugin that 1) can switch from CPC to CPA or CPM after a certain number of views that can be used anywhere, 2) that detects multiple clicks from the same user/bot and disables CPC and bans its the IP.  3)  If the clicks stay high, then the CPC goes away for a certain number of hours or days automatically.  Three layers of protection, and you still don't end up disabling all ads, just the CPC ones.

Interest, anyone?

Sounds promising. I'm curious, where does the other one fall short?

It sounds like your demographic would be somebody who is already making lots of AdSense income and has been clickbombed in the past. I don't meet either of those two myself, but if I think that you've hit on the proper price-point.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I haven't had an issue yet but if you can make a better go of it I would consider it. Maybe you would do something less for those on here for a review or something like that.

There aren't ANY that do #3, there is one that does part of #1, but you have to use it with one specific other plugin, and there is 1 that does the first part of #2 (the $47 one), but it wouldn't do anything about someone staying on one page and "clicking" to open the ad in a new window 5,000 times.

There is NO WAY I'm putting up AdSense before I have this protection–not the CPC adds.  I'll do the CPA affiliate ads.  I know WAY, WAY too many people who got banned, and once you're banned, you're out for life for that website.  You'll never get it back.  I'm not going to risk that.

I'm actually most at risk because my account is new and I have very little natural traffic.  So just a short clickbombing could get me banned.

Hey, but if someone else wants to build it, I'll pay $50 for a better solution.  :)  I'm only going to have it built because the current solutions are too limited.

If we get it packaged and purty, we'll set up an affiliate link so others can promote it through ClickBank.  In the meantime,  I put its entire functionality up there because I don't mind if someone else develops it.  :)

If you want the one I wrote, email me - it's yours for free.  I won't mention all the details on the public forum, but I don't touch #3, and it has a feature you don't mention that was a direct reaction to when I got clickbombed, heh.

It's not in plugin form, just straight javascript – so it might be better to make it php so no one can see it, but it seems to have stopped the clickbombing attack I had a few months back.  If you think there's a market for this kind of thing maybe I could build it out – but in this case, necessity bred invention… I didn't do any market research.
