I got an email last night from Dana at Derricks Enterprises asking me "what types of advertising opportunities you have". I have no idea what I'm doing here and would really appreciate some advice. I've seen from past posts on this topic that discussion on public forums is kept to a minimum, but if anyone is willing to talk via email it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

It looks like Dana is an SEO/marketing guy. I get a lot of emails from people like him and generally they are looking for a sponsored guest post. From what I can tell, you don't have a Google pagerank yet, so I don't think he will be willing to pay too much. What I would do if I was in your shoes is ask him what his budget is. Then provide him a solution to accommodate his budget. For instance, If he has $35, then offer him a sponsored guest post that he has to provide. For $50, you write the post. And so on.
Hope that helps. Feel free to email me at deacon@wellkeptwallet.com if you want to discuss further.
Deacon

Matt…you can email me at justinweinger@aol.com and I can help you out. Crystal at BITFS is another good resource to contact. Let's not post any further on this topic in this thread…it's a sensitive topic that doesnt need to be discussed publicly.
Kind Regards,
Justin

Matt, I got the same email on Monday night. I guess this person is browsing around here. I replied back and haven't heard anything.

I keep getting similar emails as well, not sure what to do with it. Some are offering a bit of money but I'm not very good at negotiating!! Is there anyone out there that can help me out, please email me directly if it's a sensitive issue!

@Eric, I just saw your AOL comment now…lol I get it all the time!! I have had it for so long that I used it when I started blogging…my mistake, cause now it would actually be detrimental to my blogging if I tried to switch over…
@FTF, I am emailing you now, I can assist…

They aren't liking my rates at the moment. :P TOO BAD! I'd rather have no paid posts than go cheap.
I don't like removing content, so whatever is up is up for good, plus I want no more than 10% of my articles to be sponsored, MAX, so that's one slot per week that I have available right now. I can afford to be picky.
