Hey everyone – would love your advice on something.

I recently applied to ebay affiliates to add onto my site, specifcally on posts related to ebay or selling items to raise money, for example:

I received a rejection to my application (Cry) with the reason of:

I'm a complete beginner on monetization and affiliate marketing, so if anyone could take a look at the site and try to determine the "explicit material" I would be really grateful. Have people had experiences like this in the past?
Thanks,
Graham.

Why not ask eBay what part of your blog is against their code of conduct?

I would reach out to eBay.  We can probably never come up with the reason.

I've been rejected from some affiliate programs as well with no explanation at all.  I wouldn't worry too much about your explicit material.  It could be anything!  =/  Sorry I can't help.

I've been told (haven't verified it for myself) that some advertisers will reject sites for things as simple as profanity, but I've also been told that really high traffic numbers can trump that. I'm an eBay affiliate on another site and they aren't as personal as other affiliate managers. Email them and see if someone is willing to do a more thorough review of your site. Some affiliate managers are happy to.

I've been rejected for not being a US based site, which Ebay did you try?
