Thanks to all who've visited and commented on my blog! Last week I dipped below the 200K mark and I'm sitting at 182K today. I started back on Feb 14th @ 753K and dropped quickly.
Now, I hope to march below 100K by the end of the summer.
1) Any advice on getting below 100K?
2) Any tips on improvements I can make on my blog? (besides my basic header)
Thanks again to everyone for you help!

Congratulations – I knew you'd be a good fit.
I think your blog layout looks nice and is working well.
Getting below 100k? I found that one day of week of monster commenting, far and wide, does the trick.
Also a nice giveaway doesn't hurt.

Wow good for you. I almost made it under 100k then went up a tick. Let's see how it all turns out. Congrats.

Congrats on the progress! Just keep working hard and you'll make it! I was able to get from 200k to 100k (just crossed it today) in about 5 weeks. If you do as John suggested you should make it fairly easily by the end of summer.
The real recipe is just commenting on others blogs as much as possible and finding some other bloggers that will reciprocate the love!

Congrats! It's a good feeling when you achieve a goal or complete a challenge. Just keep doing what you are doing and commenting on other blogs and linking to them, and you'll do just fine. I like your blog layout – simple but not too boring!

Great job Brent. All the tactics that took you down to 200k should be enough to put you below 100k.
For suggestion, immediately redesign your above the fold area. SEO visits will not increase unless you fill-up that area with real content. Lot of prime space is getting wasted.

@John Thanks for encouraging me to join. Traffic and Alexa have both gone up.
@Jai You'll be below 100K in no time!
@worksavelive 5 weeks impressive! Looking forward to 100K, but I'd really like my PR to start rising too!
@Daisy thanks for encouragement…Standard Theme
@oneCentatAtatime interesting idea about SEO. When I redesign the header, I should have a little more room, but I don't want the space too cramped.

Congrats! That's awesome for you. My only recommendation would be the one you know — update that banner!

As a relative novice sitting at about 350k Alexa, I don't have any brilliant ideas for making it to 100k or less, but sure seems like you've found the formula, congratulations!
For the group: Do you find the lower you get in Alexa ranking, the slower your progress? Is it much tougher to go from 200k to 100k than from 400k to 300k, in other words. I would think so, as the 'competition' must get keener.
Thanks.

@shortroadto- Thanks!
@moneycounselor 350K will drop quick…weeks if you're active.
@Khaleef- Networking for sure. I have got to get caught up with my writing so I can start guest posting.

Way to go, Brent. With that kind of progress, I'm sure meeting the $3k Challenge is sure to follow!

Just keep doing what you're doing. You'll be at 100k before you know it.
