Hey all!
I have gone from 9 million to less than 900,000 in the Alexa rankings which I am delighted about! I have been going fo about 6 weeks so far, but I realise I have some way still to go.
My question is, do you think that I will make it to under 200k. At which point does reducing this number become the hardest?
Thanks for any responses in advance :)

Absolutely – I was at 1.3 mil when I started on January 8! Below is the link but here is the detail about my Alexa – Note that I was typing this on Feb 1 and I just got under 200,000 today. My guess is you'll be there by the end of April. Keep it up, comment, share, stick around here… if you do it, they will come :)
- Lead Step Away from the Mall to a top 250,000 website. As I'm typing, my Alexa rank is 729,957. That's down from about 1,300,000 in just a month and only three and a half weeks since I joined the Yakezie Challenge! That actually changed my goal to top 200,000 by July 8. That's going to be pretty tough. Plus, I'm pretty sure it gets more difficult to move up from here. We'll see. I really could use your help with this one. If you enjoy this blog, share it on Facebook or e-mail it to a friend and encourage them to spread the word!
Definitely reach out if you have questions, concerns, or just need a pep talk, haha! I'm still a baby blogger, for sure, but I'm at least tied for the most recent sub 200k site (because it happened today…) so I'm still riding high from the dive, haha

You'll definitely have no problem reaching 200k. It's a pretty easy goal, but it does require some effort as you start dropping more. Just focus on continuing to write great content and get active on a lot of other blogs. You can e-mail me with any questions too.

You will definitely make it to 200k. Like the others have said, just keep focusing on putting out great content, commenting, and being involved. It will happen in due time. It does get a little harder as you get closer to your goal like with most goals. Keep at it.

It's definitely possible. Like the others said, keep reaching out to other bloggers, putting out good content and you'll get there before you know it. I wouldn't put a concrete deadline (like, I will be under 200k by April 3) on it because if that doesn't happen, you're more likely to get frustrated and quit. Keep doing what you're doing, be patient and you'll get there.

I'm still dropping and I'm at 133K ish. I drop by less – I used to drop by 20K/day, now it's more like 5K/day. I echo the sentiments of everyone else – keep staying active on other blogs and Yakezie and you'll definitely make it below 200K!

I agree with the others, it's definitely possible! Congrats on how far you've come as well.
My main tip is to make sure you connect with other bloggers and comment.

I certainly think you'll make it…you have A LONG WAY TO GO STILL!
I dropped from 900k to 400k within 2 weeks and it's taken me 2 more weeks to drop from 400 to 300k. I think once you get around the 200-400k the drops are a little slower.
Just keep working hard and writing great content and you'll get there!

We had incredible growth for a while..
Mainly thanks to the kind folks on this website and the fact that everyone here has the toolbar installed.
The more you post on here, and the more you network with fellow Yakezie members, the more traffic (and thus bigger drops) you will see.
That said.. WSL's comment above is right on.
Once you get below 300k, you're drops will level off. Before, we were dropping 50k per day, and lately.. it has been less than 5k per day. We are still on pace to break 200k by the end of the month, which would be truly awesome.
