Hi guys!
Here's my question for you guys:
What kind of financial/general app would you like to see on Android? Are you looking for a need that is currently unfilled? Or, are you unsatisfied with the apps that are currently out there?
I would love to hear your thoughts. I'm not going to go build the next Mint, but I''d like to get a feel for how people use their phones for finance-related things. A general idea is good, too! The smaller the scope, the better, as that means it''s something I can get out the door quickly. I''d love to work on something that can make a difference.
Let me know! :)
Thanks,
Kevin

Maybe an app to track savings goals with reminders. That would be pretty cool. Especially if it had multiple goals with the dates and a countdown to the goal date (if a date is specified). It could also calculate for you how much you need to save each month to get to that goal. Kind of like mint (as far as their goals) however, their app doesn't offer that feature.

That could be an interesting app! What do you think about Mint? They have a lot of power because they can link with all of your financial info. On the other hand, that same linking is why I haven't used them and have no plans to, either.

I just switched to android from the Iphone and I really miss my analytics pro app. I dont really care for any of the google analytics apps for android. It's def not a niche that hasnt been touched, but just a thought.

Why would you have an app to handle those sensitive info? No big brand offer this service..only small players and I doubt their reliability and security standard.

I used to have a preinstalled thing on my blackberry and loved that. True with an app it would have security issues.
