As some of you may remember I was an anonymous blogger the first year. So, I had set up a facebook account Bucksome Boomer as the name as well as a fan page.
I find it a pain to maintain two different facebook accounts and with the group functionality, think I can keep family pictures separate from my blog friends. I want to invite all the Bucksome Boomer account friends to become friends with my "real" account and then delete the Bucksome Boomer account.
My fan page would remain as I already added my real account as an adminstrator of it. Any downside I'm not thinking about?

No, that sounds like a good plan to me.

That should work out well. I don't see any downside.

All of your history is attached to your facebook page, so even if you have deleted or hidden pictures, in Facebook's privacy policy they are allowed to use any information that you have put up even if you have taken it down.
If you want to stay anonymous I wouldn't link the personal page to your fan page. Plus, I think people can see the "administrator" picture. (but not sure about that one.)

Were you finding FB wasn't getting your blog a lot of attention? I have an account and many fellow bloggers are my friends but I don't seem to get much business out of it. Any thoughts?
