Dear Challengers,

Hope the year has treated you well so far and everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!  I wanted to provide an update as we enter the new year.

* The Welcome Yakezie Delta Class post and sign-up sheet will be posted sometime the second half of January, 2012.

* To get an idea of what we did for the previous Yakezie Class, please read this post http://yakezie.com/191418/featured/welcome-yakezie-gamma-class/

* Within the post you will find the sign-up sheet with the questions that will determine whether you have qualified to become a Member.

* The Challenge is really about building great relationships first, and then followed by creating great blogs of your own. You will see in the sign-up sheet in the post that it asks you to name at least 10 Members and 10 Challengers who you've built relationships with.  It also asks whether I know who you are.  It's up to you to reach out and get to know as many of us as possible.  I really would like to get to know all of you so don't be a stranger.

* Everybody goes through a 6 month Challenge period, no exceptions.  If you are in the gray area, then simply join the next class in July, given you're in for the long haul anyway.  If you're short 1 or 2 months when the Delta Class post comes out, and qualify, we can potentially work you in the Delta Class as it takes up to 2 months to post all the Member Posts, depending on the number of Challengers.

* If you have any grievances or big issues with any Members, you need to work things out.  One love!  Nothing is worth staying upset about for very long.

* Best way to reach out is to leave a comment on a Member or Challenger's latest post, a post on Yakezie.com since Members are posting there, connecting on Twitter, highlighting another's post in your own post and writing around the topic, and sending an e-mail.

* Please reach out to other Yakezie Members if you have questions after you've gone through this post and the Gamma Class post.

Remember, the more you focus on helping someone else, the better everything will be.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Best,

Sam

Regards,

Sam

I guess I'm a slow bloomer because it's taken me 11 months, but my 1-month Alexa is finally under 200,000. Hopefully, I still qualify??

Your 3 month has to be under 200k.  I also do not see the Yakezie badge on your site … ?

Another important criteria is having built relationships w/ 10 members and 10 challengers (any of who could be asked about said relationship when your application is evaluated).

Did I understand it correctly that if you are 2 months short (assuming Alexa is under 200K AND you built relationships) of your six months, you MIGHT be worked into the Delta class??? So, let's say you are short two months by the end of Feb. Is it still possible then to be admitted to the Delta class?

Hooray! I get to be a Delta! This is even more exciting then when I pledged my sorority, which, oddly enough, also had delta in the name. This is way better, though.

I am very excited to welcome the new class! We've had some great participation and made some really good connections.

If you cannot name 10 challengers and members there's still time to make connections.

I am wondering whom to not list among members and challengers. I know almost all of you.

As for the rest, I guess I still have some way to go!

Same as Jeff said for me. If I have dealt with you than I can vouch for you.

That is a very good problem to have!  Congrats, OneCentAtATime!

I was so paranoid about this that i think I listed 12 Members and 12 Challengers in my application, just in case one turned out to to qualify for some reason.  :)

Congrats to all the new members who have completed the challenge!

I think I will be a bit short, hovering at 210k…
