Dear New Challengers. I just wanted to say "hi." I'm a Yakezie member who hasn't been around much this summer due to some personal business I had to give my full attention. Why yes… I do!  Crazy as this sounds, don't follow the money… that will seem hard at first but trust me, your site will be stronger if you don't focus on money and instead focus on great content. Also, remember that Yakezie is full of many diverse personalities. This can be a positive or a negative, depending on how you look at it. As a positive it means there is a lot of variety in ability, knowledge, and writing styles that you can learn from! On the negative side, it also means that you may not "click" with everyone… such is life. Don't focus on that or engage in negative behavior because of it. The group as a whole is great and supportive and we strive to treat each other with respect. Oh, and finally, remember to have fun! Don't let blogging consume you to the point you burn out. Pace yourself as you grow your site. This is a marathon, not a sprint!
I realize this advice sounds "canned" but it advice that has served me well (even when I didn't always want to follow it – haha).
