Hey everyone,

I'm now sitting at 180something, finally passed the 200K mark, thanks to the summer groups and now the fall groups. Y'all rock. I'm a little lost at the moment, thinking of finally making the switch to selfhosting.

Woohoo!

Great work.  I am also curious as to why the interest in self hosting.  I know big traffic sites need it, but they also need good revenue to support the cost.

@ SPF and TSS;

I'm frustrated with the themes, I know ZILCH about any of the technical stuff but I know I want to move things around, create a different look… i'd also like to add some ads, have had a few offers for sponsored stuff, nothing interesting so far but i would like the option in the future.

Really my blog is only small with little traffic, it's a hobby I enjoy… so do I spend the few bucks a month to learn some more, do some more and see where it goes? Hmmmmmmmmm not sure yet!

and thanks all :D

Think twice about a switch TO .org.  I think most people want .com

edit: The .ca would open you to a country specific domain.

Congrats – I would definitely recommend making the jump to self-hosted, gives you a lot more freedom. There are a few yakezie members that I'm guessing would be glad to help.
