For a long time, I've wanted to insert ads into posts, but have failed to find a plugin that did the job. My last attempt was awesome ads, but with no success. There seemed to be a conflict with my theme.
I'm about ready to inject code by hand, which is not optimal since content will get harder to manage over time. If anyone has a great tool for this, I'd greatly appreciate what's been working for you.

I've been using Quick Adsense. It's pretty easy – you paste your code in the plugin options, then tell it where you want them to go. You can have up to 10 different ad codes, and it knows not to display more than 3 at a time because of the Adsense rules.

I use advertisement management for niche sites where I still use adsense. You can add your code(s) to the plugin and then tell it where you want it to show.

I have AdSense Now on one site, but use AdSense Extreme on Edward Antrobus. It also lets you define up to 8 different ad tags that you can have automatically inserted into posts or the home page, plus has a widget if you want one or more in the sidebar.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

'Easy Adsense' is working well for me at the moment. Straightforward to set up.

I use Easy Adsense. You can customize the minimum amount of characters required before an ad is inserted. I really like that feature so ads are not displayed in shorter posts.
