Hello everyone,
I've been hearing and reading about reputable Internet Marketers who got their google Adsense acccount banned for no reason… well the reason being google's slight suspicion.
I just have one google adsense ad on my sidebar, but I wanted to ask if there is any rule of thumb I should abide by to stay off google's radar.
Also, what kind of plugins do you guys use for your adsense ads? I see how http://www.christianpf.com has it in every post in the beginning and I've also seen some in the middle of the post. What plugin is that?
Anybody with adsense experience, can you share with us what seems to work best…
Thanks.

I think Google's TOS says you can't have more than 3 ads on any one page. Other than that, NEVER click your own ads or tell people to click them for you as you can imagine, Google frowns upon such things. That should keep you in good standing with the big G, a bunch of us got "click bombed" a while back where random people repeatedly clicked our ads over and over and over trying to sabotage our adsense accounts. I don't know what anyone hopes to gain from it, but a few people had their adsense accounts banned due to it and some didnt. I don't really know how google determines who stays and who goes, but hopefully you wont run into that problem.
I use a plugin called Ad Injection. I don't know if its THE best, but it's the best one I've found. It's easy to use and it gives a lot of control over where, when and what kind of ads are shown (you can add code for affiliate products in a rotation with adsense ads). So for my purposes it's been great.

The one thing I would add is that if you are click bombed report it to google. Last month I had a huge spike that there was no rational explanation for. I think a good rule of thumb would be that if you think there is a chance that something is up, tell google. Better safe than sorry.

Just a word of warning, if you use JetPack. That plugin tends to interfere with AdSense plugins that inject ads in between posts and forces those ads to the top of the page. I submitted a bug report last year and it still hasn't been addressed to my knowledge.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to put my google adsense ad like Bob at christianpf.com. But he tells me that he doesn't use any plug ins. I'll try that plugin for sure. is there a sample post where I can see this in action?
