I am hosting Totally Money Blog Carnival this week and was checking the submissions today – there were 142!!!
Needless to say I freaked out a bit, but then I started looking at them.
It looks like Blog Carnival dumped all the prior submissions for past carnivals at once – there were some for carnivals as far back as June.

I got about 8 confirmation emails from them today and I haven't submitted anything in days. It's all old stuff that had never gone through before.

Hhhmmm. I submitted a few a couple of weeks ago but never got the confirmations. I haven't gotten anything now either. I will try to submit through there this week. Having it up again would make my life easier. :)

That's good news. I'm going to continue to try Tom's workaround until blogcarnival proves to be consistent.

I got a bunch of email confirmations today…..from carnival submissions from many weeks ago:)
Needless to say, I'm using that great BC workaround by Tom, until those issues totally clear up!

I got a bunch of confirmation emails for old submissions I had put in before I realized there was a problem. Looks like someone at Blog Carnival pulled out the plunger, so to speak, and unclogged the works.

The same thing happened to me, but only for teh two I recently submitted (like a week ago). Before that I always received a confirmation right away.

I too got a whole bunch of submissions for my link love carnival that were backdated. it's like they got lost in the cue. If you did submit to the carnival in June and I didn't link to your post I sincerely apologize. I didn't get your submission because BC was down.
As far as the Link Love Carnival goes I have stopped it for now. It didn't seem to be getting response I was hoping for. If there is demand for it than I can bring it back.
