Hi everyone! We're just a little over 2 weeks out from the 12th edition of the Yakezie blog swap, so let's start getting ready! If you're new to the concept of blog swapping, you can view a good example of how it worked in June by clicking here.

The common topic for the swap this month is, "What would be the best or most awesome job in the world and why? And, what would be the worst job in the world and why?" Since we all have blogs and already know blogging is awesome, let's steer away from selecting that occupation. This topic has been on my personal list of blogging topics for quite some time now, so I figured this would be a good time to share!

Since this summer has been amazing in bringing a good number of new faces to Yakezie, I thought it would be fun to pair people up based on when each person started the Yakezie challenge. The goal is to get the newer Yakezians working with the people that might have joined last year. To facilitate this, I've included a column on the spreadsheet.

We'll collect sign-ups until next Friday, October 7th at 9 am then pair people up. The target go-live date for all swapped posts will be a week later on Friday, October 14th.

Awesome topic.  I'm planning to sign up but will wait until after FINCON just to be sure no other emergencies pop up in my life between now and then.  I often joke that I am a jinx… if I sign up for the swap too early I am sure my roof will fall in or something.  LOL! 

How realistic does the job have to be?  I have an excellent pick but it isn't exactly realistic.  :)

No worries Miss T! You can catch the next one! I wasn't able to sign up for the swaps during the late summer since I was preparing for my phd qualifying exam, so I completely understand!

PS – I'm not sure why, but on my screen, the right side of this thread is being cut off. Any one else having the same issue?
