I had pretty much accepted the fact that my book would be self-published (the book is with an editor and should be complete by next week).
My buddy who is a motivational speaker just landed a book deal with Wiley and it's slated to released very soon. His contact at Wiley had asked if he knew anyone like him and he happily shared my name.
We just spoke and she was impressed with my marketing platform (dang right!) and wants me to put a book proposal together. :)
Not a done deal …obviously, but still very exciting.

OMG! It is VERY exciting! Work on that proposal, man! It is not easy but it is so worth it. Even if this doesn't go through (and for some reason I think it will!), you will have the proposal ready. Then you can try sending it out to other publishers! Good Luck! You should be soooo proud of yourself.
