Anyone have any experience with any of the free online checking account banks? This product didn't exist when I first setup my account, but I am now unhappy with my local bank and want to switch to a national option.
PNC Bank
BofI Federal
Zions Bank
American Airlines FCU
Navy FCU
Others?

Are you looking for a business account? If so, then we use US Bank and is free…or at least we've been able to avoid any fees. We have a Navy FCU account and are happy with them, but admittedly don't use it much.

I use US Bank and they offer a free checking account that works well for my purposes.

I have a PNC account and it has been good. They do try to upsell you to a paid account, but I have had no problems with their free account.

I just opened an account with Union Bank. They have a $250 promotion if you open a business account before the end of this month. I think there is a branch in Denver. You can use Chase ATM for free so that's pretty good.

I'm a bit picky. I want free biz checking with Quickbooks and no minimum balance requirement. I never deposit cash and generally have less than 10-20 transactions per month on the busiest months.
