I haven't been able to access since last week as it keeps timing out on me.
I tried using BlogcarnivalHQ.com for the Carnival of Financial Planning but I it didn't go through (or I missed the deadline for last week).
Curious to see if anybody else is having issues.

No clue about the Blog Carnival site, I gave up on them a long time ago.
Blog Carnival HQ is working fine. I believe that the Carnival of Financial Planning is now split into 2 editions each week, so your submissions might be sitting on another site somewhere.

Same here.
I got busy and suspended my carnival submissions for a few weeks. Probably time to get back into it, just in time for the summer slowdown :)

I much prefer blog carnival HQ and only submit to carnivals (when I do) over there. And that's the site that hosts financial simplicity carnival, which I coordinate (so get your submissions in!). It's super easy from the host perspective too.

I have been trying to submit posts to blogcarnival.com and you are correct, it has been down for a week.

Did you get confirmation emails? My problem has been that I can sub but I never get the confirmation email, thus it was never actually getting through. I'm not the only who has had this problem either.
It may work for some but it just wasn't worth the trouble for me to go through them anymore.

Don't forget about bloggercarnivals.com. I use that and blogcarnivalhq.com. I gave up on Blog Carnival a long time ago.
