Let's say you found a website worth buying, that is a valid website and good traffic etc. But that user was banned from AdSense on that site for reasons they don't know why – invalid clicks etc.
Does AdSense ban the entire site, or just that user? And more importantly, if you put ads on that site from your account, would your AdSense account risk being banned as well?
I didn't buy the site, just curious if anyone has any expereince with that.
Cheers

It could be either reason, but it is usually the individual user, not the site. However, there are some tools like: http://ctrlq.org/sandbox/ which allow you to check AdSense on a site.
However, you are running a BIG risk of getting your total account banned so be careful if you make significant money from AdSense.

The safest option (besides walking away) would be to buy the site and put ads from another vendor on it. Something like Media.net or Chitika that would replace the adsense entirely.

From what I understand, you can buy the site and register a new adsense account. This would entail registering a new LLC and getting a new PO box, but it would be the safest route.

It would probably depend on what AdSense had been providing for income before they were banned. Can they provide earnings proof? If it was small anyways, you might not even discount your offer, but if it was a big amount, you have to weigh in risk that the site might be banned again, so you should make your offer accordingly.

Yes, I agree. I think that is the best option – Cheers!

Joe, Google is very clear that you cannot have multiple AdSense accounts. That is unless you have a business entity (as you point out) with a different bank account than your personal AdSense account. Anyway they track the login IPs and can put 2 and 2 together very easily. I'm sure there are ways around it, but that would even be a higher risk. But your completely right, it would have to be a completely different account.

Can you do some other affiliate program other than Adsense on the site?

Ninja, you can always have multiple businesses running from your home computer and hence have multiple business adsense accounts. I am pretty sure Google algo takes care of this fact, even if you use same IP.
