Hey man, it was a good time! I really liked the open flow of conversation. It's a fresh change of pace from constant lectures.

Hey Sam, of course I went, somebody had to drink all the beer lol!

It was awesome because it was really close to me. I even had Derek from Freeat33 stay with home after we had got in touch in Denver.

As for the differences:

Denver was massive. You just can't compete with it. With over 400 bloggers and dozens of sponsors, and professional job done by Phil, it's definitely the gold standard for conferences.

The best part of the Canadian counterpart was the intimate setting. With a little less than 70 bloggers in the room it was more of a discussion. Each presentation had a discussion element to it and we all got to chat openly.

I wouldn't miss either one next year.

I believe Derek, Marissa, Money Crashers, and I were the only ones to attend both conferences.

Hope to see you guys next year!

I believe there were 2 others. CPCF12 felt more home-y….but that could be because it was in my backyard.
