With the recent flood back into the USD, the CDN has fallen about 5% from where it was last week and may fall further today. That means if last week $100 gave you $96 CDN, this week it will give you $101.
I'm wondering myself…

Yup I converted some funds in my US dollar account today using XETrade. I also just wrote an article comparing US Bank Accounts for Canadians that I published yesterday.

That's a really good point. I've actually considered leaving foreign currency in PayPal and waiting until exchanges rates became more favorable before cashing out – but I never showed the patience to do so.

I must admit I never think about this with my USD and GBP that I have floating around in the Paypal. I probably should be watching things a little.
