It seems the host for this weeks CofPF went AWOL this week and didn't post the popular round up 9am EST Monday morning. I noticed on Tues and fired Flexo an email and offered to get the Carnival of PF published. 2nd time as a last minute fill in (first was the first edition of 2011).
The CofPF is a lot of work to put together if you don't just mindlessly copy/paste the auto generated HTML or bother to read the submissions.
This week I whittled down the entries to 5 max per category. It took hours as it was to get the post done so the investing and money management sections, which had in excess of 10 entries each, needed trimming.
I have an editors top 5 too.
So, I could use some promotion on twitter if you have 15 seconds: Carnival of Personal Finance #323 – Better Late than Never Edition – http://goo.gl/9WI9U @SustainablePF #yakezie
The article is here: http://sustainablepersonalfina…..r-edition/

Any carnival is work to put together but the CofP is a monster! Thanks for getting it done!
Oh, and here's the carnival on Reddit for everyone to vote up!

Good work. Did the planned host go AWOL?

No idea. Her site was talking about a DUI situation and other things that didn't sound easy to deal with.
Anyhow, congrats to Jackie (MoneyCrush), Sandy (YesIAmCheap) and Jacob (MyPersonalFinanceJourney) for making the editors picks – and one you were top dog this week!

Thanks SPF for coming through in a pinch a *second* time. I really appreciate it! After multiple attempts to contact the scheduled host to see if everything was alright, I didn't receive a response. I had seen the issues she had been having recently, and I can understand that sometimes real life gets in the way.
I was looking for a replacement host, and SPF's email came at the right time.
