Hi Everyone

I have a question for any of the previous hosters of the Carnival of Personal Finance. Ages ago I offered to host when there was a call out. This week, I noticed on the CoPF website that I am the host of the carnival for next week. I haven't been emailed anything though. I don't know how I get to the submissions…is it through blog carnival? I just want to make sure I can get access in time to be able to actually post the round up. I am worried because I haven't received any submissions to my email inbox.

If anyone can let me know the process for this carnival, that would be great. I have hosted other carnivals and I haven't run into this. I appreciate your help.

Also, if any of you would like to submit to the carnival, please do so.

If you haven't gotten the login info, yet, I'd send an email to get it.

I remember this Carnival!  The guy who runs it doesn't think it's very important to send out the info.  He went out of town the week before I hosted in August, so even though I sent him 3 emails over a week and a half, I didn't get anything back.  I finally asked around and was told this happens alot with him.  I just emailed the previous host and got the login info for the carnival's gmail account from her Sunday afternoon (she got it from the host before her).

The guy himself emailed me the TUESDAY AFTER I POSTED to apologize that he forgot about me and to reschedule the carnival posting day.  I explained that I already posted the carnival and would never be hosting the CoPF again.

I'm 99% sure that I have the login info at home, so what email would you like me to send it to?  :-)  Even if I can't find it in my gmail, I'll email you this evening so you'll know to contact last week's host, lol.

I'll email it tonight.  It's just a gmail account that receives all the submissions, so it's pretty easy.  :-)

I just wanted to publicly say that I'm an idiot – it was the Festival of Frugality that was a pain in my booty.  But I also hosted the CoPF earlier on and sent on the info.  :-)  Sorry CoPF!  :-)

If anyone has questions about the Carnival of Personal Finance, feel free to email me. Revanche from A Gai Shan Life sends out hosting information (gmail login info) to those who are scheduled to host the week before their hosting date.
