Hey Everyone,
It is with great pleasure that I announce a new project: Carnival of Retirement. Joe (from Retire by 40) and I are working on this together (since we both have similar goals to "retire" in a few years).
The first edition will be on Monday, 1/9/2012 and will be a weekly (every monday) carnival following that date.
If you have any posts about retirement (including general posts about long term investing), submit them through this submission form.
Joe and I will be alternating hosting the carnival at the beginning until everything is running smoothly, but if you are interested in hosting a future carnival, contact us at carnivalofretirement@gmail.com or email either of us individually.

I'll add this to the list of weekly carnivals I submit to.
How focused are you all keeping this?
For example, if I ran a post about home ownership that didn't really mention anything about retirement (but home ownership is sort of a part of retirement), would that be eligible?

Hi Jacob,
Any long term investing/saving/retirement strategy related post can be submitted. Your example sounds like it will work.
We'll exclude short timeline articles like saving for travel, option trading, coupon clipping, and that kind of thing.

Starting to get the hang of this Carnival thing. From reading the comments here, I can see that I better start a folder just for Carnival submissions. Doing that now, and adding this one, as retirement savings and investing is one of my favorite subjects to write about. -Thanks!
