What is the guest post policy like for GRS?

Do you need to reach out and pitch and idea first, or woudl they prefer you send them the complete post?

Hey Jefferson,

To be honest, I'm not sure. Holly checked that one out. I know that we were published not as a "guest post" but a "reader story." For that, you can submit the URL of a story that you've already written. It took about a month for us to hear back from them.  Thanks for the congrats!

@SeeDebtRun, JD prefers you to send him the completed posts.  You can find the guest post policy by searching his posts, but in general, send him a post and cross your fingers.  It can take 2 days or 3 months to hear back depending on what JD has on his plate.

I have heard that the wave of subscribers and traffic that you get from a GRS guest post is really something to behold. I know that a few Yakezie regulars (Aloysa and One Cent at a Time) mentioned this recently..

We have a few posts in the planning phases, and I am hoping that one of them will morph into something that we feel strongly enough about to submit to JD.  As you know, there are some in the GRS community who enjoy tearing apart guest posts, so I want to make sure it is a good one.
