What is a CoPF?

I have a CoPF post from May that's been in my sidebar(most commented) since then. It made PR4, as opposed to my homepage being PR3.
If I am not wrong, that would be Carnival of Personal Finance.
You aren't wrong.

@ Sandy there is another way you can bring pr and traffic, select
the pages you want to rank for. Create xml page for them, submit the
xml feed in webmaster's tools, get article submission links for that
url, comment in new, existing page or ranked page, rather get links from
webmaster using that xml. I did this for my clients and it really
worked for me…
Below given the manual code (name it as you
wish, ex: name.xml) save it as xml and upload it in the root folder and
open the url, add it in your site for visibility.

-

-

Put your Title here

Put your description here.

-

Put your story title here

Put your description here

Put your story title here

Put your description here

http:// www. Put your link here . com

Put your description here

http:// www. Put your link here . com

How is that different from submitting a sitemap to webmaster tools? Does limiting the number of sites inside the file help? Also, are you getting the links to the xml file on your site, instead of the pages that you want to rank for? Could you clarify the process a little bit for me?
BB, manual xml is different from the one we get from plugins, that we submit in webmaster tools, this is one is for those pages for which you want to rank for. Let's say you have selected and created xml for 10 pages (you want to rank for) now get links for that .xml from the authority site or any other way, you can named it my popular articles, bla blaa blaaa..
Sometimes make it non-commercial for link diversification. See one example http://bit.ly/j7KvqW Your reply is appreciated. This gonna really help your page..

Yes, I checked and mine dropped from 3 to 2. A quick check of a few other Yakezie sites revealed declines as well.
I cautioned this earlier, when PR increased a few weeks back, that PR is fickle and can go up and down frequently. Mine has changed quite a few times this year. Perhaps it's best to think of it as we do the stock market – while it may trend upward over time, there will be ups and downs. No need to get too excited over the gains, or get shocked over small declines. Now, if the changes are substantial and long-term, it's reason for concern (I recall one Yakezie site with such issues). But maybe this is just the way it is – expect it to go up and down and be cool with it as long as you're trending upward over a larger period of time? Who knows, maybe someone here has more detailed knowledge of the process.

Yep. Mine dropped from 2 to 1. Disappointing but I expect it to go back up in due time.

I think you're right. I'll steel myself to not get too disappointed if our PR drops. Hopefully it won't drop all the way back to 0 though. That would completely deflate me….

My main site dropped from 3 to 2, and my newer site is still a 3 (for now). I am really shocked about Yakezie dropping 2!

Khaleef – this is the big G and page rank we're dealing with here. Anything is possible :) Who knows, maybe ranks will change again, and go up and down again soon.

Mine dropped to a 3 as well, but I'm not too worried about it. I think fluctuations will naturally occur.

When these results came out I was a PR 0. I checked my PR again last night and now it is 4. Totally blown away.

That is an amazing increase. Lock in your advertising deals before Google makes another change! lol

Wow, looks like there was an update. Just a couple days ago Matt Cutts said there would be one really soon. I guess they're going to start bringing it back…weird.
MoneyMamba managed a PR2. A bunch of older posts got a PR1-2, too. Highest PR post, though, is the post for Totally Money Blog Carnival; it earned a PR3.
I was really hoping another site of mine would go back to PR6 from PR5. No go, though. I really hoped a PA of 55 from SeoMoz might round up to a PR6. :-/ Pagerank is green crack. I'm addicted.
JT that is awesome you have another site that high. I have been meaning to ask you awhile now, is there a reason you don't list those sites on Yakezie? Are they more private and you don't want to share?
