Hi all,
Anyone currently using coaches, mentors, or in a mastermind group? Pros and Cons? Just curious. Thanks!

I would love to hear something about this too. I've wondered about doing a mastermind group so I wouldn't feel so along at this blogging thing!

I was part of the first round of Bloggers Helping Bloggers that Jana from Daily Money Short started back in October. Bloggers are teamed up mentor and mentee for six weeks one to one. It was a great experience and there is another round starting soon, you can check more on blogmentoring.com. Now J.Money from Budgets are Sexy is helping Jana too.
Pros: you save a lot of time on your journey, picking someone's brain when that person has gone through the same struggle you have is a real blessing.
Cons: a mentor is passing it forward but has no obligation to help you so you can't ask for constant attention, unlike a paid coach.

Bloggers helping bloggers is a great group. I've been through the program and it's a great help. I'd highly recommend it.

I'm in a mastermind group (almost all Yakezies) and it has been a great help to my blogging and outside businesses. The encouragement, support, and accountability are huge.

How did you get started with it?

Nothing like getting held accountable and encouraged to do more for sure.
That said, if you can't contribute your part, then best not to join. It's part of the reason why I'm not a part of one as I don't want to be the slacker bringing the group down. Traveling a lot in 1Q.
