Comment Luv seems to be a pretty popular widget on wordpress. Do you think it increases traffic to your site if your site offers it? By this, I mean does comment luv attract more viewers, because it allows them to market their own site?

I would say it's a standard nowadays. I think it's nice because it allows commenters to think of a thoughtful post knowing that they will automatically get a link back, so it provides a good incentive for them.

Add it, ASAP.  I get disappointed when I post a good comment and can't get a bit of self promotion out of it (not that I won't post if there is no commentluv!).

I've read that comment luv and things like top comentators give readers incentive to post … a psychology thing.

Definitely worth it! Besides having great content, this is probably the biggest enticement to comment on one's site. Also, I love giving someone a little "reward" for leaving a good comment on my site – and I can quickly click through to the post which they choose to highlight (out of their last 10).

Most definitely!  This is a must-have plug-in for every blogger!

It's  a great way to stimulate participation in your posts and explore new blogs.  I've discovered so many awesome blogs because of this one plugin.

I have it in my site, but no one can see it. I don't know why but I still have not managed to make it work. But IF it works, I agree it is a very nice plugin.

I agree! I really like Comment Luv. Gives a very big incentive to comment on a site! The current commenting system I am using, Disqus, doesn't offer it, and I'm about to change to intense debate, who does offer it.

I used Disqus at first, but removed it because is isn't compatible with Comment Luv!

Good call! I agree! I am now fooling around with a way to keep my current Disqus comments and/or import them to the Intense Debate platform. I'd like to keep from losing the existing ones!

Any tips?
