My husband created a retirement calculator for my blog, since I'm doing a retirement series. It's here:

I haven't announced it to readers yet. I was hoping to get a little bit of feedback on it, if there was anything that wasn't clear or didn't work well for you or whatnot. Thank you!

I'll have to test it out in other browsers and in Windows, because sometimes, things just go funny for my on my linux box. But the margins of the cells seem to be off, only displaying digits in the hundreds and higher.

Also, it told gave me an answer contradictory to e-trade's calculator.

But over all, I like it.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Thanks for that. Was it wildly off of the e-trade calc? Can you tell me more about that?

Well, for some reason, when I was in Linux, the calculator gave a result of my retirement funds lasting indefinitely. When I switched over to Windows, the calculator was displaying everything correctly, and showing a shortfall of $6,828, but lasting 44 years. Which confuses me, because I only need retirement to last for about 10 years. Using the same numbers, e-trade says I'm short almost double that amount.
