Hey everyone,
As many of you now know, my wife and I sold BrokeProfessionals to Suba and her Husband. I have told everyone that I would be focusing on FreelancePF, my freelance business (http://www.freelancepf.com). I know you will all be happy to know that a steady stream of work has already been flowing in, and that as I want to maintain quality and keep the client list low, I am close to being booked for the present moment. I hope that trend continues. I am looking for more blog creation jobs as well as the diverse writing work, which is really coming in fast, including some staff positions I might be starting soon, and in a manner that has surprised even me. That said, I continue to write for Broke Professionals (http://www.brokeprofessionals.com), as does my wife. My wife and I also have a new personal finance blog at http://www.debtpayer.com, if anyone is interested in checking that out. It will be similar to Broke Professionals but not updated as often as I updated Broke Professionals and written with an even more personal angle.
Anyway, sorry if I am boring anybody with my updates but I wanted to let everyone know where they can find my wife and I in "this series of tubes" that is the "world wide interweb."

Congrats on taking and having success with the "next step." I'm curious – what sort of people/sites are hiring you to write for them? I think you'll be great at it.

MPFJ,
Basically personal finance bloggers, although generally personal finance bloggers that are having a good deal of financial success already with their sites. It is also generally bloggers who run blogs or who are looking to expand their personal blogging network. You actually helped me get one client, so you probably have a good idea already of what I mean. Most of my clients thus far are Yakezie Members/Challengers or were referred to me by the Yakezie, and I appreciate that so much everyone. I haven't done any advertising, I have simply created a blog/website and written here that I am available. Hopefully I deliver above and beyond what people are looking for and start generating some word of mouth business. Thanks again for your help throughout my transition, MPFJ and everyone.

That's great, congrats. Goes to show A) Your quality work on BP when you owned it did not go unnoticed by folk here, and B) There is clearly a market for quality, well-written articles

I haven't gone to any freelance sites. I'm basically just cold emailing certain bloggers I know and a few clients/potential clients have reached out to me. I'm just about full so I may have to start raising rates soon if/when new business comes in. Since I am a practicing attorney I have to keep the client roster low in order to keep up quality.
